Water and Sewage Case Officer with Projector Focus

The position is full-time, located at the Water and Sewage Unit in Mullsjö municipality. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Water and Sewage Case Officer with a focus on project management, you will be responsible for processing and coordinating cases within the municipality's water and sewage operations. The work includes both technical processing, project-related tasks, and customer and fee issues, focusing on ensuring a legally secure, technically sustainable, and customer-oriented water and sewage operation.

The work is varied and combines administrative and technical tasks with dialogue and collaboration internally and externally. Some tasks are carried out in close cooperation with the Water and Sewage Manager, operations staff, and finance, while other tasks are performed independently.

Examples of job tasks:

  • Processing water and sewage cases according to LAV, municipal guidelines, and water and sewage fees.
  • Responsibility for connection cases, services, stormwater issues, and LTA solutions.
  • Calculation and application of water and sewage fees for new and reconnections as well as customer cases.
  • Contact and dialogue with property owners, authorities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Preparation of decision-making materials, opinions, technical statements, and documentation.
  • Participation in water and sewage projects from early investigations to implementation.
  • Basic water and sewage project planning and review of drawings, documents, and technical solutions.
  • Coordination between technology, regulatory requirements, finance, and customers in water and sewage issues.
  • Registry and system work related to customer, facility, and case management.
  • Participation in the development of routines, working methods, and documentation within the water and sewage operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant technical education and an interest in working with processing, project-related tasks, and customer issues within the water and sewage area. You have a good understanding of technical water and sewage systems and thrive in a role that combines administration, technology, and collaboration.

  • Technical education in water and sewage, community building, environmental technology, road and water, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience working in municipal water and sewage operations, technical management, or water and sewage consulting.
  • Good understanding of water and sewage systems, pipeline networks, facilities, and connection and service issues.
  • Knowledge of the Public Water Services Act (LAV) and water and sewage fees is an advantage.
  • Experience in technical processing, project planning, or project support is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with producing technical materials, decision-making documents, and documentation.
  • Good computer skills and experience with relevant systems (e.g., case management, GIS, water and sewage systems, or Office).
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
  • Driver's license B.
